Nyema is the third sister to share her story with my loyal readers and those that are new to me. I'm so thrilled to be able to share this series with you all. The beauty of these sisters touch my heart even as I write. I've yet to be able to get through one of these books without bawling my eyes out at some point or another. As much as I've been told people have love these stories, I have to admit that I love them just as much. I hope that you enjoy the read.
Synopsis:
Nyema Norton is a child psychologist, a mother, a sister, a friend,
amongst other things. She has always been the type to be there to
listen if you needed it or give sage advice that helped others to
improve upon their lives. She has known great loss. First, her sister,
then the father of her child. As such, she has chosen to guard her
heart against anyone outside of her family and inner circle of friends.
Nyema is perceived as the one that has it all together.
James Kenyon, architect, has always been the man with no desire to
have a wife and/or family of his own. He applauds his best friend for
stepping out and finding love, but he wants no parts of it. James had
decided to assist a friend with having a child. A simple act of
kindness, a freak accident and one phone call has his world spinning.
What he doesn’t count on is a loss greater than one he ever thought to
endure, a woman that changes his outlook and that very same woman
possibly being the missing key to his healing. It helps that she has a
precocious yet adorable kid, ta boot.
What will happen when the two meet as counselor and patient? Will
James be the breath of fresh air that she needs in order to be able to
truly breathe? Will Nyema be the woman to cause him to be willing to
commit to something, someone other than his company and employees?
The Norton Sisters Series is a series about six sisters that share
the same last name, but are six entirely different women. The sisters
by age ranking: Zoie, Wynter, Rayna, Nyema, Lynnia and Chyra are there
for each other, always. They follow their own little "Norton Code":
"In the end, family means everything and your sisters hold you up. No
matter what may come."

Five Star Reviews:
"I initially wrote the below review (a 1-star review) after downloading a copy of the book on 11/20. However, after the author reached out and confirmed there was indeed an error, I gave the book another try......And Thank God I did because, I Loved, loved, loved Nyema's story. This story called for Nyema and James to deal with their own personal grief, and while Nyema thought she was helping James, she was really opening up the pathway for healing herself! James and Nyema's chemistry was off the charts, and little Nakia was just as cute as a button. Nice work Ms. Jones, I can't wait for the next Norton Sister release!"
"awesome read kept you from the beginning right thru the ending the group of sisters have such a bond I would recommend this series to anyone"
Thank you for checking out my blog post. Happy reading and enjoy life through a good book! ~E.
A life in full motion and filled with emotions that are expressed in the best way possible; the written word!! Happy Reading! ~E.

"Meet My Character (s)" Blog Hop
Hello All,
Author Cindy Amrhein (her blog: http://historysleuth.blogspot.com/2014/07/meet-my-character-blog-tour.html) invited me to participated in this tour. I am grateful for the opportunity to share in something like this. I am excited about this. I love my characters and these sisters have a very special place in my heart.
1) What is the name of your character? Is he/she fictional or a historic person? Nyema Dawn Norton is a fictional person.
2) When and where is the story set? The time of the story is within the last two years and the setting is a place called Tempa, Florida.
3) What should we know about him/her? Nyema is a Child Psychologist and usually the voice of reason with her sisters. She may come off as overly educated and a bit stiff but she is a big kid at heart once you get to know her.
4) What is the main conflict? What messes up his/her life? Nyema was born a twin. Her twin died after only sixteen years of life. It impacted all of the sisters but it hit her hardest. She is a single mother of one beautiful little girl. The father of her child died before their daughter, Nakia, was born. Nyema knows loss and is very protective of her heart because of it.
5) What is the personal goal of the character? Nyema's personal goal is to just get through life without focusing on the ever present pain that her losses have left her with. The other goal is avoid establishing another relationship. It is not something that she wants or feels necessary in her life.
6) Is there a working title for this novel, and can we read more about it? Oh that's simple, Nyema (The Norton Sisters, Book 3). If you follow my blog or subscribe to my newsletter then you will be able to read the first chapter or a blurb as they become available.
7) When can we expect the book to be published? September 25th of this year.

Scarlett Rose Grace
(Rouge):
Scarlett has had the
same dream, during the same month for 7 years.
The year of her 30th birthday the dream became a
nightmare. What do you do when your
dream becomes reality? What if your
dream guy was the god, Hades, Lord of the Underworld? Nothing good could come of this. Or could it?
Hades, Greek god:
Hades aka Aides aka
Lord of the Underworld. These were just
a few of the names that he was known to go by.
Names he hadn’t minded having until her.
The year he found (actually his minions did) his Rouge that changed. He
changed. Will he be willing to be the
man that she wants? The clock is
ticking for him. He needs to convince
her to choose to stay with him. If he
can’t, the thing he always wanted will be lost forever.
Synopsis/blurb:
Scarlett Rose (Rouge to Hades and she hated him for
it) has had the same horrible nightmare for most of her adult years. If she had to be exact about it, then it had
been seven years. Seven long years with
the same recurring dream where she is pulled into Hell and bedded by the
legendary Lord of the Underworld himself, Hades. She remains one night in her
time, but months in his. She is returned
one night, the night of her 30th birthday, and finds that she is pregnant.
Imagine her surprise when she finds out that all of those dreams were, in fact,
reality. She has to beat the clock that
only she can hear.
Hades reasoning for calling his bearer to him is not
only to have a child with her but he desires a companion. No one knows, or can
find out, that he looks forward to that time of year when he has the ability to
spend time with HIS Rouge. Now that he knows that she is carrying his child, he
wants to do everything possible to get her to agree to be at his side, for all
eternity. The god is willing to do anything at all, even if it means disguising
himself as another to win her heart. In the process of trying to win her, he
finds himself enjoying the character he is playing for her. The clock is ticking and he has a decision to
make. Will he be able to beat the clock? Or will he have to watch the woman he's come
to love and the child he desires most from his lonely, evil perch?
Excerpt from the book:
If what he said was him being truthful, telling her
the honest truth, then there were such things as gods and goddesses. If what he told her was actual fact, then her
dreams were real. If he was finally
explaining the exact meaning behind some of his more cryptic statements of,
“I’m not exactly the man that you think I am” or “Reality can sometimes be a
fluid word, depending on the viewer”, then Scarlett thought she wanted his
balls on a platter. If what he had been
telling her was truth, then she had been dealing with Hades and not her dream
guy, Aides. She’d been sleeping with
Hades. She was pregnant with Hades’, the
Lord and ruler of the Underworld’s, child.
It just couldn’t be her reality.
No, she was going to be sick.
